			<content:encoded><![CDATA[Thrilling matches in Masters Events have been shown on last day of 24th European Youth Championships which ended with the Medal Ceremony.

England's Autum Chamberlain took the title and the gold after two clear victories in Finals.

Norway's Andrea Hansen was awarded Silver, Bronze went to Amanda Larkin from Ireland and Daria Pajak from Poland.

Medals have been awarded by Addie Ophelders, President of ETBF, Kim T. Jensen, Vicepresident of ETBF and Roland Mück, President of DBU, German Bowling Federation.

Right after that the boys were awarded their medals. New European Champion is Arnar David Jonsson who took the gold, Germany's Robin Menacher took Silver.

England's Michael Nock and Christopher Lam were awarded Bronze.]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[Robin Menacher advanced to the finals with a 2 : 0 victory over Michael Nock (England). Jonsson had to go into overtime in semis against England's Christopher Lam and finally won by 2 : 1.

Arnar David Jonsson won the first of final matches by 225 : 209 against 15-year old German. He could not resist the powerful game of the Icelandic boy and had to admit defeat by 175 : 224.

Arnar David Jonsson took the gold and is European Champion. Silver goes to Robin Menacher (Germany). Both losers of semifinals England's Michael Nock and Christopher Lam will be awarded Bronze.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[In Masters Finals England's Autum Chamberlain had to face Andrea Hansen from Norway. Both girls won their semifinal matches vs Daria Pajak (Poland) and Amanda Larkin (Ireland) 2 : 0 each.

In first game already Autum Chamberlain won 230 : 202 clearcut. She was in the lead from beginning of second round and outdid Andrea Hansen by 211 : 181.

Thus Autum Chamberlain took the Gold and is European Champion. Silver goes to Andrea Hansen, Bronze to Daria Pajak (Poland) und Amanda Larkin (Ireland).

First of all Addie Ophelders, President of ETBF, Kim T. Jensen, Vicepresident of ETBF and Roland Mück, President of DBU presented the medals to the girls. Norway's Line Berg Almestrand and Poland's Daria Pajak were awarded Bronze. Silver went to Latvia's Adina Kindzule and Daria Kovalova from Ukraine was awarded Gold as new European Champion.

England's Elliot Crosby and Latvia's Arturs Levikins were awarded Bronze. Joshua Schuurman from Netherlands was awarded Silver. Finally Roland Mück, President of DBU presented Gold to Germany's Steven Wiersema as European Champion.]]></content:encoded>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[A total of 115 boys and 67 girls participated in this 24th European Youth Championships. Medalists in All Event competition have been determined by 18 games out of the three disciplines doubles, team and singles.

Ukraine's Daria Kovalova won the girls competition totalling to 3922 / 217,89 clear cut. She scored series of 1221 - 1344 and 1357 took the title and the gold medal.

The battle for silver and bronze has been decided not earlier than in singles competition. Adina Kindzule (Latvia) 3822 / 212,33 outdid Bethany Hedley (England) 3820 / 212,22 by 2 pins only and took the silver. Her series: 1337 - 1190 - 1295 and Hedley scored - 1292 - 1288 - 1240.

Ranks 2 and 3 with the boys are separated by only 2 pins just like the girls. Bothhanded leftie Jesper Svensson from Sweden took the silver medal totalling to 3963 / 220,17 (1338 - 1328 - 1297). Latvia's Daniels Vezis took bronze scoring 3961 / 220,06, der 1376, 1337, 1248.

European Champion and gold medalist ist Joshua Schuurman (Netherlands), he scored 4049 / 224,94. After a weak start in doubles 1202, he performed a 1433 and 1414 in team and singles competition.
